1. Acceptance of Terms
MerchantVoice ("the Application") is a product of MRPD Tech, which owns and operates it. By installing, accessing, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Application on behalf of a store, merchant enterprise, or partnership, you represent that you possess the authority to bind such entity.
2. Nature of the Service
MerchantVoice provides on-device soundbox payment audio alerts, transaction bookkeeping, and customer udhaar management. The Application is not a payment gateway, payment aggregator, or banking institution. Funds transferred by your customers pass directly from payer banks to your designated UPI Virtual Payment Address (VPA) or bank account through authorized NPCI UPI networks.
3. Soundbox Alerts & Payment Verification
Voice announcements are synthesized based on incoming notifications and SMS alerts received on your device from registered banking and UPI apps (e.g., Paytm, PhonePe, Google Pay, BHIM). While the system parses reference numbers (UTR) and amounts with high accuracy, merchants are encouraged to verify the 4-digit reference code on large transaction amounts.
4. Merchant Obligations
- You are responsible for ensuring that your primary UPI ID (VPA) displayed to customers is accurate and valid.
- You agree not to use the Application for unlawful financial transactions, unauthorized lending, or money laundering activities.
- You must maintain physical and credential security of the smartphone or terminal device hosting the Application.
5. Customer Khata & Udhaar Book
The Khata feature is provided as a digital record-keeping tool between you and your customers. MerchantVoice does not underwrite, guarantee, collect, or enforce any customer debts or credit balances.
6. Intellectual Property & License
MerchantVoice and its proprietary parsing algorithms, audio engines, and user interfaces are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Users receive a revocable, non-exclusive license for legitimate retail operations.
7. Termination & Account Deletion
You may discontinue use at any time by signing out or using the "Delete Store Account" feature in Settings. Deleting your account closes it immediately; after our team reviews the request, your cloud ledger backups and merchant profile are permanently purged.
